For me, mindfulness means being aware of yourself, of your awareness, of your thoughts, and of your actions. It means a peaceful mind, free from constant and restless thinking.

Focus helps you make your mind one-pointed. When your mind is one-pointed there’s just one thought in your mind. You focus on one thing at a time.

To be mindful, you focus on your feelings, your thoughts, your body, the sensations in your body, or on your environment. This means that for successful results you need to be able to focus your mind..
